The name of the club is
Griffith University Vietnamese Student Association

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

The aims and objectives of the club shall be:
- Helping all Vietnamese students studying at Griffith University in various aspect of their student life. These include:

• Providing information about everything related to studying at GU and living in Brisbane.
• Providing English help to Vietnamese students and sharing study experience.
• Helping Vietnamese students to troubleshoot problems with computer and other electronic devices (charges may apply).
• Create a common box on our website for members to share information about accommodation, textbooks, part-time jobs, furniture, etc…
• Orientate, encourage and assist students experiencing homesick and depression, etc., upon facing great changes, difficulties, or boredom in their student life.

- Organizing regular meetings, occasional parties and excursions as well as sporting activities to maintain a happy and active life for Vietnamese overseas students.

- Organizing cultural events at GU and participate in the greater events organized by UQ Vietnamese Club to introduce Vietnamese culture to Australian students as well as showing the strength of Griffith.

- Spreading our reputation to Vietnamese students in other universities as well as potential students of GU from Vietnam in conjunction with marketing for GU in Vietnam via study agents and the internet.
